On December 2nd,2014 interim athletic director, Jim Hackett, held a meeting with Michigan Footballs head coach,Brady Hoke at 2pm. Around 3:30pm it was announced that Brady Hoke would not be returning for the 2015 football season. This was not a shock to many people at all. After having a 7-6 season in 2013 and a 5-7 season this year and not making it to a bowl game, Michigan fans were fed up with Hoke and his coaching. Alumni even started donating to the team. It seems like all he was good at was standing on the sidelines clapping. Even during bad plays; nothing but clapping.
In the weeks to come Jim Hackett will continue to search for the best coach to get Michigan football back to one of the best in the country and the best in the BIG 10. One of the people that people keep saying Michigan is after is Jim Harbaugh. Harbaugh is the current San Francisco 49ers coach and has a contract with them for one more season. I look forward to seeing what happens with this situation and cant wait to have Michigan Football back to what it used to be. Good luck to Brady Hoke in his future!
